Number 3 Coming in June
This somehow got overlooked on the blog, but we’re very excited to have our third child in late June this year! Rohm is really really really hoping for a baby sister, but she promises to love a new brother; just “not as much”. We’ll find out if it is a boy or girl this week, so look for an update on that in the near future. For the time being, here is our ultrasound pic from the 8 week visit. Even the third time around, hearing the baby’s heartbeat was a unbelievable experience.
Merry Christmas 2011!
The Ware Kingdom
Princess Rohm & Prince Ozzie… in his prince dress of course. This is how life goes tends to go when you have an older sister (an older sister who really wanted a baby sister).

Latest Hobbies Include: copying everything his sister does, climbing, falling off things he climbs on, dancing to Adele, some more climbing, some more falling, combing his own hair, & stomping his feet (pretty sure this is an example of copying his sister but combing the hair is certainly not an example of this).
Recent Conversations with Rohm
After a trip to the dentist office from which we brought home a container of floss (because this is what every 3 year old will know how to use without destroying).
Rohm: Just fix the floss.
Mom: I can’t. You broke it.
Rohm: No, just fix it. Just put it back together.
Mom: I can’t. I don’t know how.
Rohm: Yes you do. Just look it up online.
I was recently wondering around the house looking for my shoes when I said out loud, “Where are my shoes? I can’t find my shoes.” And Rohm says to me, “I don’t know where your shoes are honey, you’re just gonna have to look for them.”

Recent Conversation with Rohm
Rohm: I’m so sad
Mom: Why?
Rohm: My friend Dajia died (this is her imaginary friend).
Mom: Oh no, what happened?
Rohm: She got hit by a car.
Mom: Oh no, that’s so sad!!
Rohm: When you die you go back to the people that love you.
Mom: (I think to myself, Wow! My 3 1/2 year old is so profound!!)
Rohm: Yeah, God says she’ll be back around 5 ish.
Our Little Big Man…
Hobbies: eating dirt, dancing, banging on things, eating sand, clapping, & crushing things (this includes cats and small dogs)
Favorite Thing: his big sister
A Pretty Big Deal (x3)
Recently, the Ware Family reached some pretty fun milestones and would love to share them with all of you. First of all, Adam and I celebrated “our 10-years-of-official-relationship-status anniversary.”
Next, Ozzie turned 6 months old! He’s a gigantic, super happy baby that loves to eat and loves his older sister. He’s weighing in at 19 pounds and 15 ounces and is 28 1/4 inches long. His favorite hobby right now is getting up on his hands and knees and rocking back and forth.
And lastly, Rohm can write her own name! They’ve been practicing at school and I couldn’t be any more proud of her! And yes, I scanned it and posted it on the internet (I have no shame).
Here are some comparison photos of me, Rohm, & Oz at 6 months. I feel like Ozzie looks a lot like me at certain times and a lot like Adam at other times, a nice blend of both:)
We Wish You Well in the New Year!
The Ware Family Christmas was a quiet, relaxing evening at home in Portland. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner with Jo and Tony and Adam read The Night Before Christmas to Rohm (Ozzie was already fast asleep so Bea filled in for him). Although we warmed up to Santa Claus this year, we still decided at the last minute that under no circumstances was Santa allowed to come inside the house. So we left our cookies and milk outside on the porch. Santa caught on and left the presents on the porch and Adam brought them in and placed them under the tree before we woke up on Christmas Day. Maybe next year we’ll be ready for Santa but maybe not, we can only wait and see. More pictures on flickr.

Mom: Where do you want to work? Like Dad goes to SwellPath because he works there. Where do you want to go to work?
Rohm: (After a moment of thought) Target. I want to go to work at Target.
