It’s been a month since our last post so I figured I’d post a quick update. We are eagerly awaiting baby’s arrival. Gina is getting pretty uncomfortable and baby is getting pretty BIG! She’s estimated to be 7lbs. 7oz. already, and has long legs. Needless to say, Gina is ready for her to come out. It’s 3 weeks and 3 days until the due date, so we’re close.
Since our last post we completed our birthing class, which was an interesting experience. Informative though…
We also had an awesome baby shower/BBQ at the Preston’s up in PDX. Among other things it included maybe the world’s most amazing cake. It was a good chance to spend some time with most of our closest friends up in PDX. Big props to the Preston’s for their incredible hospitality.

Last weekend we were out in Newport for Jeff & Vicki’s wedding. I was the officiant; my second go around at that. It was a quick and slick wedding followed by a good party. Jeff and Vicki looked awesome, and the setting was beautiful, overlooking Moolack Beach.

Speaking of scenic Oregon coast weddings, we got to celebrate our one year anniversary the day after Jeff & Vicki’s wedding. We headed north to Neskowin and split a bottle of champagne (I drank about 80% of it of course) at the exact spot where we got married, at the same time as the wedding.

It was 90 degrees with barely any wind! A lot warmer than last year’s conditions, but we weren’t in fancy clothes this time around so it felt nice. We spent the night up there and hung out in PC on Monday before driving down to Florence. It was a nice getaway for us and a chance to reflect on how much has happened in the last 12 months, and where we’re headed in the next 12 months and beyond.
